“Step by step the longest march can be won, Many stones can form an arch, singly none”
—From Ruthie Gorton, preamble to the constitution of the United Mineworkers of America
A collection of stones can be a pile of rubble, or a wall. Or, if carefully shaped and aligned, it can be a graceful doorway. Similarly, a person or a group of people can be a collection of unexamined and conflicting impulses, or a rigid set of behavior patterns.
Our work at Many Stones Consulting is motivated by a deep desire to help make the world a better place by increasing the sustainability and effectiveness of individuals and groups working for social and environmental justice.
