A penny for your thoughts and other wise sayings
They say that actions speak louder than words, but it all depends on what you're going for. As a writer and editor, I think both are equally important. And you might want to add listening to that because all of the rest is meaningless if you don't listen to what your client or audience has to say.
My business name is the same as my philosophy – Write Results. I want to know what you need to say – whether it’s an article, a blog, a brochure or other type of communication. With each word, my goal is to provide you with the “write” results. With 30 years experience as a freelance writer and editor, and additional experience in corporate communications, chances are I’ll be able to help you say it – succinctly, eloquently, technically, or with a little bit of humor.
Just say the word.
I’m a freelance writer and editor because I love the work. And hopefully, you’ll love my work as well. I’ve written everything from magazine and newspaper articles to press releases, speeches and manuals, and even non-fiction books. I have a strong healthcare background but I’ve also written about business and finance, parenting, dogs, weddings, and even ghosts.
I’m currently a regular contributor to iSeniorSolutions.com, writing for and about seniors and their families. But I’m ready to tackle any topic.
Whatever the topic and whatever your needs, I would love to help you turn your ideas into words.

A Journalism graduate from UW-Madison, I liked the area so much that I stayed here. I’m currently married with two grown children and a Golden Retriever named Wrigley. Yup, after the Field.
Although I’ve spent a couple of decades as a freelance writer, I started out in corporate communications, working at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the American Cancer Society and Agrace HospiceCare, among others.
I’ve written for area publications such as Isthmus, The Capital Times, Dane County Kids, InBusiness, brava, The Fitchburg Star, Stoughton Courier-Hub, Hardwood Floors, Now Hiring and Metro-Parent. I’ve co-authored two non-fiction books: The Rating Game and The World’s Worsts, and have contributed to many more, including Not Till the Fat Lady Sings; Dark Horses and Underdogs; Armchair Reader: Packin’ It In Wisconsin; Armchair Reader: Wild and Wacky Weddings and Armchair Reader: Haunted America. I’ve also written website content, articles and blogs for Midwest Home Care, livingsenior.com and Coldwell Banker Success Real Estate.
