Background Info
Kim Walters (she/hers) has been involved in education for over 20 years, primarily teaching literacy at the middle school level. She also served in the role of instructional coach K-12 with a focus belonging. Most recently she was the Director of the Center 4All at CESA 6. where she specialized in creating equitable learning environments and led initiatives that promoted inclusion and belonging. Her expertise includes program development, professional training, and community engagement. She has also earned a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from e-Cornell, and a certificate in Innovative Teacher Leadership and Instructional Coaching from Viterbo University and earned her BA in Elementary Education from Cardinal Stritch University. As a life-long learner, Kim is determined to make the world a better place for everyone because when we know better, we get the opportunity to do better.
