Transforming Workplace Conflict

Every day, we experience conflict. A common response is to overlook and avoid acknowledging or addressing conflict. Rarely, does that mean the conflict goes away. Unresolved conflict festers and manifests in a wide range of behaviors and is destructive.
Join us on June 10th as we grapple with spotting and managing conflict, using lived experiences as a launch point. Through a guided discussion, we will explore warning signs, management strategies, and damage control tools to utilize when conflict escalates.
Conflict, in the workplace, is most often an indicator that discovery, growth, and change are needed. Conflict, when identified and addressed, can be positive and move the team and organization forward.
Drawing on several decades spent developing professional relationships, team building, and collegial mentoring in an education environment, Val founded P2G Consulting to focus on addressing workplace conflict and removing barriers to team success. The name, P2G Consulting (Pulling2Gether), reflects Val’s commitment to unify team members to achieve organizational goals.
As a facilitator of team development, Val nurtures individual professional growth, mediates conflict, and supports strategic planning and execution. The guided team efforts lead to concise, clear communication, understanding of expectations and desired outcomes, and concrete action plans for moving forward.

Tara Ingalls is owner of Tingalls Graphic Design, a 21-year-old graphic design and website development firm located in Fitchburg WI. Their firm focuses on taking away the stress of marketing so you can focus on running your business. They specialize in branding including logo design and print collateral such as brochures, flyers, business cards, and banners. They have also been named Best Website Developer the last six years running by InBusiness Magazine for their Squarespace and WordPress products.
On the personal side, Tara is the current President of her Madison South Rotary club and in her free time, she enjoys running, playing spoons, crafts, and camping with her husband Roger and three daughters.
Why MABC?
I joined MABC shortly before COVID hit last year. I was referred to the group through a business colleague and after reviewing the membership online, I was quite impressed. I really loved the energy of the group and how transparent the leadership is about building each other’s businesses and making connections.
