Do you have any wool sweaters you no longer wear? If so, please bring them on January 9th so that MABC can donate them (any condition) to Remitts.org. This grassroots organization makes super-warm mittens and eco-friendly dryer balls from discarded wool sweaters. Proceeds from the sale of the mittens and dryer balls go directly to Dane County food pantries.
During the celebration, we'll announce the winner of The Walter Jankowski Making a Difference Award, which is in memory of the late MABC Member, Walter Jankowski.
This is a free event, but registration IS required so we can plan accordingly.
Appetizers will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
